What are the best shoes for West Coast Swing?

Can I dance West Coast Swing in ordinary sneakers?
You can, but grippy tread breaks up turns and travelling movement. A dance-engineered sole lowers the resistance under the ball and heel and keeps the rest of the foot secure, which is the whole difference.
Are West Coast Swing shoes fine to wear outside?
Yes. The SPYNFLEX® sole is designed for indoor and outdoor surfaces, including timber, lino, concrete and the footpath, so a workshop weekend and the walk to dinner happen in one pair.
How should West Coast Swing sneakers fit?
Same size as your sneakers. Held through the middle, no pinch at the toes. Need more width across the ball of the foot and the toes? Flow 2 Wide is a true 2E to 4E width.
