Flow 2 Onyx is black from lace to sole: our most supportive dance sneaker for dancers who want the performance without the shoe drawing attention to itself. It holds your foot through fast footwork and direction changes, then disappears into whatever you're wearing after class.
SMOOTH WHEN YOU TURN
Dance floors vary, and a sole built for dancing has to handle all of them. The SPYNFLEX® sole releases under the ball of the foot and heel when you turn, grips through its textured surround when you step, and flexes through the grooves cut into it so the shoe follows your foot. Timber, lino, vinyl, concrete and footpath, one sole for the lot.

The structured upper is what makes Flow 2 our most supportive style. It holds your foot secure through turns and quick changes of direction without feeling heavy, while shock-absorbing reinforcement around the heel softens every landing and a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop keeps you stable and balanced.

The removable GROOVECLOUD® insole gives you soft memory foam over shock-absorbing foam, so the cushioning lasts through a long class without muting the floor. Want more room? Swap it for a slimmer insole. Wear orthotics? Take it out and drop yours in.
LIGHT ON YOUR FEET
The AIRDANCE+® upper is lightweight premium microfibre that flexes as you move and supports where you need it. Breathable sections at the toe and sides, with a microfibre mesh lining, keep the air moving on a humid Brisbane evening or in a hall that's had the heaters on all afternoon.
Tumbled and smooth panels give the all-black upper depth without breaking up the clean shape. Onyx goes with dancewear, denim, tailored trousers and everything in between.

What is the SPYNFLEX® sole, and how does it help me turn?
SPYNFLEX® is a single, uniform proprietary polyurethane sole made for dance movement. It feels predictable across the whole shoe, with reinforced pivot points for turns and multi-layered texturing that balances movement, grip and control on smooth surfaces.
Can I dance on carpet in these?
Yes. The SPYNFLEX® sole still helps you turn with its pivot points, but carpet has more friction than wood or vinyl, so movement feels slower. The sole is designed for spinning on smooth surfaces above all.
Will these glide on a wooden floor the way a suede sole does?
Yes. The SPYNFLEX® sole is made for smooth surfaces, including wood. The uniform polyurethane surface feels controlled and predictable underfoot, with reinforced pivot points to support turns and multi-layered texturing for grip, glide and control.
What is the heel-to-toe drop, and does it matter?
Heel-to-toe drop is the height difference between the heel and forefoot. Every shoe in the current range has a 10 mm drop, giving you a lightly raised heel rather than a completely flat stance.

How do I clean my new sneakers?
For AIRDANCE+® microfibre, use a soft damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. For Volt's cotton canvas, blot gently rather than scrubbing. Let the shoes air dry away from direct heat. Do not soak or machine wash them.
How do I clean my soles?
